Friendly, scenic, and historic. Add to that the appeal of being host to Ireland's biggest Jazz festival, and there you have it - that's Cork!

For 25 years the last weekend of October has seen the city embrace this international event which now boasts over 700 musicians from all over the world, and attracts around 40,000 visitors. The venues vary from theatre halls to intimate bars, but they are all located within a close proximity of each other.

This is a great European Jazz festival, well worth paying a visit to.
